No experience necessary. Restoration Workdays occur in dozens of sites around the county, some on weekdays & some on weekends. No commitment or Volunteer Interest Form needed, only a volunteer waiver–come to as many workdays as you can!

Discover and connect with the natural world! Families will be able to engage with fun nature activities from making a nature collage with natural elements you find around the park or by painting your own garden stones. This day is dedicated to exploring, appreciating, and celebrating the beauty and wonder of nature. Whether you’re a seasoned nature lover or just looking to spend some time outdoors, this event offers something for everyone.

Forest bathing is a guided experience that works to mend the relationships humans have with themselves, the concept of time, their communities, and their environment. It is a practice focused on remembering reciprocity by connecting to our senses through the natural world.

Join Jess Rodriguez, certified Nature and Forest Therapy guide, for a two-hour practice filled with a series of guided invitations that offer opportunities of presence, stress relief, and relaxation. 

During this time, participants can expect to walk slowly for less than a mile with plenty of opportunities to stop and simply notice the world around them.
